The artificial turf at the Barbados Football Association facility in Wildey is to be replaced next month.
Confirmation from President of the BFA, Randy Harris.
The present artificial field was installed in February 2012 in the second phase of FIFA’s Goal Project.
However, Harris says while the surface can be functional for up to 20 years, FIFA has certain requirements of artificial fields, especially those which host official matches.
Harris also revealed further development at the BFA facility is on the table in the new year.
