63 people (22 males and 41 females) tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, June 12th, from the 333 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

The cases comprise 10 people under the age of 18, and 53 who are 18 years and older.

There were 32 people in isolation facilities, while 1,140 were in home isolation.

The public health laboratory has conducted 694,258 tests since February 2020, and recorded 82,318 COVID-19 cases (37,525 males and 44,793 females).

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 162,586 (71.2 per cent of the eligible population).  The total number of fully vaccinated people is 153,057 (56.5 per cent of the total population or 67 per cent of the eligible population).
