Police seek assistance in locating wanted man

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted man.

He is Basil Alphonso Branch alias “Bark”, who is wanted for questioning in connection with serious criminal matters. 

Branch, whose last known address is Morris Gap, Westbury Road, St. Michael is approximately six feet tall, slim built and of a brown complexion. 

Basil Branch is advised that he can present himself to the Criminal Investigations Department, Redman Drive, Fontabelle, St. Michael accompanied by an attorney-at-law of his choice. 

Anyone who may know the whereabouts of Basil Alphonso Branch is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at telephone number 430-7189/90, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station. 

Members of the public are also reminded that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist wanted individuals; anyone caught committing this offence can be prosecuted.
