Tourism officials in Barbados are moving to capitalise on the untapped experiences visitors can partake in on island.
They are banking on the Bajan Experiences Collection, one of the strategies to market the country’s tourism offerings.
Chief Executive Officer of Barbados Tourism Marketing Incorporated, Dr. Jens Thraenhart says the industry is one in which everyone can play their part.
He is optimistic the move will not only help drive the inclusive platform but reposition the island from the sun, sea and sand.
The BTMI boss was one of the two tourism officials on CBC TV8’s Mornin’ Barbados promoting the upcoming Barbados Tourism Week 2022.
Activities during the week, which starts on Sunday, September 25th and ends on Saturday, October 1st, will be held under the theme ‘Rethinking Tourism’.
