October 29th, 2021

Airline partners are showing major confidence in the Barbados tourism brand with flights into the island returning to near pre-pandemic levels.

Speaking live from London, Director of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Incorporated in the UK, Cheryl Carter told the Morning Report British Airways is leading the charge out of the UK with a major increase in flights from early December.

Joining BA will be Aer Lingus out of Manchester and KLM with three weekly flights along with the inaugural flight of Eurowings Discover.

Out of the US, Jet Blue and American Airlines will be flying in three times a day.

Added to that will also be new direct services with United out of Dallas and Newark.

The BTMI Director maintains visitors are eager to come to the island despite the current wave of COVID-19 cases and deaths.
