The Ashley Lashley Foundation with its partners, on World Health Day, yesterday, organised a cook-off competition themed “Health for All.”

The competition not only challenged the competitors’ cooking skills but their crisis-solving abilities, as the country seeks to derive resilience from the threat of hunger due to food shortages.

Teams included the Ashley Lashley Foundation; Pan American Health Organization; Peg Farm and Nature Reserve; Ministry of Health and Wellness; and Queen’s College school.

Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Wellness, Dr. Sonia Browne, who competed for the Ministry of Health, stressed the need to embrace healthy foods.

The winners of the cook-off competition were Zakiya Barrow and Kye Yearwood of Peg Farm and Nature Reserve.
