HRMAB holds Strategic Business Partner Bootcamp

Human resources officers should not allow themselves to be used as the hatchet people of an organisation.

This admonition came from Minister of Labour, Social Security and the Third Sector, Colin Jordan.

In his address to the opening of the Human Resources Management Association of Barbados (HRMAB) Strategic Bootcamp at the Sandals Resort on Thursday, he told the gathering such is not the role of human resources personnel.

Meanwhile, President of the Association Ambassador Joan Underwood said the Bootcamp is an intensive short intervention for training and a hands-on opportunity for participants.

She gave some background on the tenets of the two-day exercise.
