Reverend Lorton Moore has passed away

Longstanding Wesleyan Holiness Reverend Lorton Moore has died.

Reverend Moore led various churches for several decades, the latest being Wobourne Wesleyan in Flat Rock, St. George where he spent approximately 25 years.

CBC understands the 69 year old father of St. George North MP, Toni Moore, died on Tuesday at home.

Paying tribute, General Superintendent of the Wesleyan Holiness Church in the Caribbean, Reverend Dr. Joel Cumberbatch says Reverend Moore touched many lives, whether it was in the classroom as a primary school teacher or in the church, and he will be missed.
