Significant escalation is expected tomorrow in the impasse between the concerned residents of St. Joseph and the Tenby project developer at Bathsheba.
At issue is a wall being constructed by the developer, which residents contended will prevent their traditional access to Joe’s River and the area known as teacup and saucer.
CBC News understands that Cultural Ambassador and social activist, The Most Honourable Anthony “Gabby” Carter and other prominent Barbadians will be on site to voice their concerns about a wall.
The issue was raised last week by some residents and there was a response by an attorney representing the developer.
Unsatisfied with the explanation given, residents intend to continue their protest.
CBC News also understands that the concerned residents have retained the services of a prominent attorney at law to fight for their cause.
