The Barbados Surfing Association has penciled-in a September start date for their first competition of the year.
Confirmation from President Paul “The Surfer” Bourne, who says it all depends on approval from Government and the COVID-19 Monitoring Unit with regard to the resumption of competitive sports on the island.
He says it has been a tough year for athletes with the absence of local competition.
Bourne also says from a health and safety standpoint, the BSA is fortunate that they can execute an event and maintain all the protocols.
