Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley says her Government does not support the mandatory vaccination of the island’s citizens.
The Prime Minister outlined the position in a conversation with the nation earlier today.
Ms. Mottley also spoke about the presence of the Delta variant in Barbados and two clusters in two business places which health authorities are monitoring.
Vaccinating the island’s school children was also on the agenda. The Prime Minister says it has been accepted by the medical community but further dialogue is in the works.
