Operation Reset today attracted thousands of Barbadians to the National Botanical Gardens for the Barbados Workers Union’s May Day celebration, which saw workers from all walks of life coming together for song and solidarity.
One highpoint was the planting of a mahogany tree which symbolised the bond and strong working relationship between the union movement and Government.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley congratulated the Union on its dedication to the workers’ cause and spoke of the significance of the tree and future plans for the gardens.
