
The Barbados Meteorological Services continues to monitor the progress of Tropical Depression #7, which was located along 15.4N 51.8W or about 880km (550 miles) east-northeast of Barbados at 5:30 p.m. today, Friday, August 13th, 2021.
It says satellite imagery has shown continuous organization of the potential tropical cyclone 7, which was upgraded to a depression during the late afternoon.
Gradual development of this system is possible as it moves generally west-northwestward at about 20 mph.
Current forecast tracks indicate that the system should pass well north of Barbados on Saturday afternoon.
The Met Office says this is the final update on this system.
