NAPSAC is back with a bang

St Gabriel’s, Christ Church Girls and Roland Edwards were the top schools on day one of the Chefette Frosteez NAPSAC Distance Relay Championship, as the meet began on Tuesday with the Andrea Blackett and James Wedderburn Zones.

St Gabriel’s Boys won two relays in the Blackett Zone at the Usain Bolt Complex.

Their Under-11 Boys ran an impressive 9:16.03 seconds to win the 4 x 600 Metre event.

Good Shepherd won the same event for girls.

Still in the Blackett Zone, St Martin Mangrove took the 4 x 800 Metres Under-13 Girls, while Eden Lodge won the 4 x 4 mixed event for the Under-9s.

St Gabriel’s Boys returned in the Under-13’s 4 X 800 Metres to win as well, running 12:2.09 seconds.

Then in the James Wedderburn Zone, St Lukes took the mixed 4 x 400 for Under-9s, while Christ Church Girls took both the Under-11s 4 x 600 and the Under-13s 4 x 800 relays.

The boys of Roland Edwards won the Under-11s and Under-13s.

The meet continues today with the Anton Norris Zone in the morning session, followed by the Marcia Trotman Zone in the afternoon.
