The Joseph Payne Memorial Classic 5K will be rebranded in 2023.
That is the word from organiser Charles Walcott, who says the event will now be called the “Samuel Leo Garnes 5K Classic”.
Speaking at the launch of the 2022 edition, at the National Stadium, Walcott says the rebranding is to honour the former outstanding national athlete Leo Garnes.
