With the COVID-19 pandemic bringing uncertainty to many aspects of travel, a regional resort brand has come up with an initiative aimed at giving travellers some peace of mind.
This through the Sandals Vacation Assurance, a vacation protection programme by Sandals Resorts International (SRI).
The programme offers the guarantee of a free replacement vacation for guests impacted by COVID-19 related travel interruptions.
It includes replacement airfare credit for US travelers, up to $500 per person, quarantine stays of up to 14 nights at no charge if required and COVID-19 testing to meet any government requirement from the comfort of the resort.
SRI Executive Chairman Adam Stewart says the new Sandals Vacation Assurance initiative is designed to take the worry out of travel, giving guests certainty that their investment in an all-inclusive luxury vacation is safeguarded from interruptions outside of their control.
All current and new reservations made up until December 31st, 2021, for travel until December 31st, 2022, automatically receive the Sandals and Beaches Vacation Assurance Protection at no charge.
