More protection needed for utility companies

With the possible threat of terrorism, Barbados should consider doing more to protect its utility infrastructure.

Deputy President of the Senate, Her Honour Elizabeth Thompson, says this is critical as Barbados and other Caribbean territories could be seen as soft targets for terrorists.

She made the call for enhanced security at the respective sites across the island during yesterday’s Senate Debate.
