Let’s see how well you know our Bajan sayings!
Today’s Bajan Proverb is a reminder that we should not allow ourselves to be limited by our circumstances.
It is: “It don’t tek a big axe tuh cut down a big tree”.
Do you know what it means?
This world is full of stories of people who overcame difficult situations to truly demonstrate the power of this saying.
Just like a little axe that can “cut down a big tree,” you can find a way to conquer the challenges in your life by starting with the resources you have right now – whether you have a little or a lot, you can face and overcome life’s obstacles.
