Barbados recorded 182 new COVID-19 cases from the 752 tests conducted on Wednesday, August 24th, by laboratories across the island.
Of the positive cases, 24 people are under the age of 18, and 158 are 18 years and older.
There were 77 people in isolation facilities, while 2,320 were in home isolation.
The laboratories conducted 751,854 tests since February 2020, and recorded 100,373 COVID-19 cases (45,371 males and 55,002 females).
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of fully vaccinated people is 154,348 (56.9 per cent of the total population or 67.6 per cent of the eligible population).
