A total of 325 people (141 males and 184 females) tested positive for COVID-19 from the 693 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory yesterday.

The cases consist of 40 people under the age of 18, and 285 who are 18 years and older.

There were 67 people in isolation facilities, while 2,664 were in home isolation.

The public health laboratory has conducted 730,303 tests since February 2020, and recorded 92,841 COVID-19 cases (42,219 males and 50,622 females).

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 162,960 (71.3 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated people is 154,016 (56.8 per cent of the total population or 67.4 per cent of the eligible population).
