336 new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Wednesday, November 3rd out of the 2,096 tests conducted.

The new positives consist of 156 males and 180 females. Of these, 74 individuals are under the age of 18, and the other 262 are 18 years and older.

There are 869 people in isolation facilities, and 6,096 in home isolation.

To date, 149,534 individuals – 65.5 per cent of the eligible population – have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine under the National Vaccination Programme.

A total of 128,216 people (47.3 per cent of the total population or 56.1 per cent of the eligible population) have received their second dose and are fully vaccinated.

The eligible population represents those who are 12 years and older.

Since February 2020, the public health lab has carried out 396,380 tests and recorded 19,188 confirmed cases (9,270 males and 9,918 females) of the viral illness.
