400 new cases of COVID-19

400 new COVID-19 cases (158 males and 242 females) were recorded on Monday, July 18th, from the 1,083 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

The new cases consist of 68 people under the age of 18, and 332 who are 18 years and older.

The number of people in isolation facilities was 42, while 1,857 were in home isolation.

The public health laboratory has conducted 717,655 tests since February 2020, and recorded 88,154 COVID-19 cases (40,260 males and 47,894 females).

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 162,828 (71.3 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated individuals is 153,831 (56.8 per cent of the total population or 67.4 per cent of the eligible population).
