A total of 428 people tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, April 13th, from the 1,357 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

The cases comprise 80 people under the age of 18, and 348 who are 18 years and older.

There were 81 people in isolation facilities, while 2,889 were in home isolation.

The public health laboratory has conducted 629,322 tests since February 2020, and recorded 63,785 COVID-19 cases (29,458 males and 34,327 females).

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 161,476 (70.7 per cent of the eligible population).

The total number of fully vaccinated people is 151,588 (55.9 per cent of the total population or 66.4 per cent of the eligible population).

The eligible population represents those who are 12 years and older.
