A 95-year-old woman is the winner of the Kiwanis Club of Barbados North’s Christmas raffle.
Her daughter Clesfield Rock collected the voucher for half of a hog on her behalf.
Other winners received liquor hampers, Christmas cake, ham and chickens.
Ms. Rock says her mother already has plans for the pig.
President of the Kiwanis Club of Barbados North, Mike Archer says the organisation is always seeking ways to help people in need, and the raffle raised the funds to make that goal a reality.
