The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence came to a close today – Human Rights Day – with the Barbados Mothers’ Union calling for protection of the health, wellbeing and human rights of children, the youth and vulnerable adults.
President Joyce Sealy says these individuals must be protected from abuse, harm and neglect.
She was speaking to CBC News on the sidelines of a symposium at Solidarity House.
