KFC Oistins is tonight closed.
CBC News understands that the air conditioning in the kitchen of that particular location of the popular fast food restaurant chain has not been working for approximately two weeks.
When a Barbados Worker’s Union team visited the establishment tonight, they were informed it was now closed and workers, despite being present would not be paid.
Deputy Director of Industrial Relations Kamisha Benjamin, accompanied by Industrial Relations Officer Sean Scott spoke briefly to CBC outside of KFC regarding the situation.
The BWU team was asked to leave by management, with their items being removed from the building.
