Barbadians stand to benefit from better roads in the coming days due to the 30 million Accelerated Mill and Pave Programme commencing.
Mango Lane, Chapel Street, Archers Lane, Bovell Road and Godding Alley in St. Peter are among the first to benefit from the programme.
The Ministry of Transport and Works in collaboration with its contractor C.O Williams Construction Limited will begin the milling and paving process starting today.
In a statement released by MTW stated that work in Chapel Street and Godding Alley will begin from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Mango Lane, Bovell Road and Archers Lane repairs will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Motorists are urged to obey the signage and directions of the traffic wardens and to exercise caution while travelling through the work sites.
