Multiple airlines from Africa have expressed an interest in flying to Barbados.
While not providing names of the carriers, Minister of Tourism and International Transport, Ian Gooding-Edghill says updated air services agreements are in place.
He says the airlines are interested in doing business with Barbados and creating a flight path from Africa into Barbados and outward.
Mr. Gooding-Edghill also provided an update on plans to make the Bridgetown Port a hub for maritime logistics following queries from Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley.
