The all-clear has been given for students to return to the classrooms at the Lester Vaughan Secondary School.
This is according to a release from the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training.
It notes that after reviewing the reports and consultation, the Ministry of Health and Wellness and the Ministry of the Environment can find no evidence to substantiate the continued closure of the school.
A meeting revealing the findings of a recent Smoke Test and Air Quality Test was held with parents on April 05, at Queen’s College, and was chaired by the Chief Education Officer, Dr. Ramona Archer-Bradshaw.
The report has revealed there were no emissions at the plant, and all volatile organic compound levels were below the threshold for safety.
