Police Commissioner Richard Boyce says they are looking into the complaint from a viral video of poor customer service from the police.
A young woman claims the phone was disconnected in her ear when she tried to report a shooting which caused injury to her mother in the Pine.
In an interview with the CBC News, he says they have reviewed the video and are investigating.
Commissioner Boyce added that the Barbados Police Service has a customer service training programme in place for officers.
