The Barbados Union of Teachers has responded to action being taken against two teachers who contested the 2022 general election.
Those two teachers – Alwyn Babb and Pedro Shepherd – who ran on Democratic Labour Party tickets, have both been suspended for breaching the Public Service Act.
However, President of the BUT, Rudy Lovell, says the union views the action as discriminatory.
