The National Botanical Gardens was a hot spot today.
Many families and friends took advantage of the lush grass and shady trees in the St. Michael national park, to have their food, drinks and fun to celebrate Errol Barrow Day.
For many it was important that they mark the day with festivities.
Some put up tents as well to keep their food covered while serving large numbers as some brief showers came.
Cameraman Christopher Wood spoke with some of the picnickers.
