FirstCaribbean International Bank has been targeted by fraudsters.
The Bank, in a statement, says its Fraud Monitoring team proactively picked up an attempt by fraudsters to illegally use some of its clients’ credit cards.
A small number of clients were affected by fraudulent transactions, and FirstCaribbean says it has been contacting the affected customers.
It says the fraud teams are on top of the issue, and has assured its clients that its systems remain safe and secure.
The Bank is reminding clients to make use of the facility in its mobile banking app that allows them to keep their card frozen when not in use.
