A Barbadian contingent is among groups of scouts dealing with a heatwave at the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea.
Thousands of them are said to have started leaving the coastal campsite in Buan and are moving to nearby hotels.
However, despite international reports of extremely hot conditions at the Jamboree, the Barbadians are doing well.
Chief Commissioner of the Barbados Boy Scouts Association, Trevor Jones, provided the update during an interview with CBC News.
While large groups from the United States and Britain have pulled out, Commissioner Jones says they are monitoring the situation.
He has commended the South Korean authorities for providing additional support to help the scouts cope with the heat.
