Barbadians urged to look out for each other

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley is appealing to Barbadians to look out for each other this Crop Over season, as she officially declared the festival open.

In a brief address to the hundreds gathered at the Portvale Sugar Factory for the Ceremonial Delivery of the Last Canes, she said people should be proud of themselves for surviving the challenges of the last two years.

Ms. Mottley also says working together during these times will be important.
