Barbadians can expect to see a shortage of chicken in supermarkets as there has been increasing demand for it as tourists have begun to return to the island.
This was revealed by Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Indar Weir.
He says his Ministry has begun looking at new sources for baby chicks, other than the traditional US markets.
