In his Christmas message Commissioner of Police, Richard Boyce says the Barbados Police Service is looking forward to serving the Government and people of Barbados with a renewed sense of commitment.
The top cop says serious crime has fallen by 24% based on a comparative period for last year.
He notes however that the matter of firearm crime continues to be cause of concern.
Commissioner Boyce says as a consequence during the coming year, all resources, along with expected collaboration of communities will be brought to bear on this issue.
