The Barbados Police Service is investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred around 9:45 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023. It happened along the Barrow section of the ABC Highway at its junction with Mount Friendship Road, St. Michael.
Involved were a motorcycle ridden by Learie Neil Carasco, 50 years, of #2 Hill Crest Avenue, Fort George Heights, St. Michael and a motor car driven by a 58-year-old male of Parish Land, Christ Church. Carasco died as a result of injuries he sustained during the incident.
Police provided brief information on the collision:
Both vehicles were travelling south along the highway when they collided. The cyclist was later pronounced dead at the QEH.”Investigations are ongoing”
