Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley is calling for a redefining of the roles of government and the private sector as the island looks to become a major player in the global market.
She made the comments as the Barbados International Business Association marks its 25th anniversary.
Speaking virtually to the organisation, she said she is pleased BIBA sees its role in the island’s development as pivotal.
The Prime Minister says now is the time to hit the reset button, as over the years BIBA has been one of the government’s most valued partners in the advancement of global business.
