The Barbados Community College (BCC) is getting back to basics by ‘creating better choices’ in the hopes of ‘developing a better tomorrow’.
To do that, students of the Visual Arts Department have etched a mural, with the help of Berger Paints, on the pavilion walls.
Chairman of the Board Dr. the Honourable Allyson Leacock challenged students to find more spaces on the St. Michael campus, as well as the Jean and Norma Holder Hospitality Institute, to beautify.
The design was created by Visual Arts student Alissa Baptiste-Pierre from a series of submissions.
Principal Annette Alleyne advised those in attendance to make better choices, just as the message on the plaque indicates.
Additionally, Berger’s Regional Sales Manager, Tameka Thompson disclosed that the company is offering three 3-month internships to the top Interior Design students enrolled at BCC, to assist them with developing their expertise in the field.
