The Lion’s Club of Barbados South has yet again honoured the memory of engineer Gline Barker by awarding a Building and Civil Engineering student a scholarship.
That student is 17 year old Rashon Barrow of the Barbados Community College, who topped the candidate list in all categories.
Mr. Barrow expressed gratitude to the Club for the funds and said preparing for the interviews let him challenge himself.
He received $2,000 to assist with the materials and tools needed for his studies in the two year programme.
