Beehive leads to partial road closure

A section of the Mighty Grynner Highway in St Michael, will be partially closed to all vehicular traffic today, Sunday 19 December 2021, between 7:30 am and 1:00 pm.

This is to facilitate the removal of a large beehive.

Spring Garden Industrial Estate, at its junction with the Mighty Grynner Highway to the entrance of the Barbados Coast Guard, is the specific area that will be closed.

Police will be on location to divert motorists who may be in the area and encourage all motorists to avoid this locale, as well as arrange their travel plans accordingly.
