The bidding process for oil and gas blocks offshore Barbados is expected to get underway by the middle of this year.
That is the word from the Minister of Energy, Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Senator Lisa Cummins.
She made the comment as discussion on the Estimates continued in Parliament under the Ministry of Energy and Business Development head for a total of 45.9 million dollars.
Providing more details, the Director of Natural Resources, Jamar White, spoke to the progress made by one of the license holders BHP, which has been acquired by Woodside Energy.
