Authorities are hoping to have legislation proclaimed in short order, to empower the Transport Authority to revoke the permits of PSV owners whose operators engage in reckless behaviour.
This was disclosed by Minister of Transport Santia Bradshaw, during last night’s Parish Speaks in St. Peter.
She was responding to a complaint from a resident of Six Mens, who expressed concern about recent social media videos, showing ZR drivers making reckless manoeuvres.
Ms. Bradshaw says the Senate approved the Amendment to strengthen the Transport Authority’s powers on Wednesday.
