The Barbados National Standards Institution, now 50 years, has restructured.
And its 2023-2026 work programme is poised to create measures to stimulate economic growth.
Director Hayden Rhynd speaking at the BNSI Visibility Summit says they are also looking at strategic quality solutions to deal with the economic problems of Barbados.
Mr. Rhynd says the creation of a quality culture can only come about with policies from the very top.
He also pointed out the agency has been instrumental in preventing technical barriers to trade through its adherence to international standards.
