Body of man discovered at Three Houses identified

Police have identified the body of the man discovered in the vicinity of the Three Houses River in Three Houses, St. Philip.

Police Public Relations Officer Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss says it is that of 41 year old Rommell Tyson Jones of 1st Avenue, Deane’s Village, Hindsbury Road, St. Michael.

Police say Jones’ body was identified by a family member who visited the scene.

The body was discovered by a passerby just before eight this morning, in an area near the embankment of the water way of the Three Houses River.

Police were subsequently notified.

Lawmen are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed or have knowledge of the incident to contact the nearest police station.
