Special Advisor to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and the Sustainable Development Goals, Corey Lane, is hoping to run for the Barbados Labour Party when the next general election is called.
He confirmed that he will be seeking nomination for the City of Bridgetown seat this weekend. Lane made that announcement as he bid farewell to the ‘Down to Brasstacks’ family, a show which he regularly moderated on VOB 92.9 FM.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, recently announced that he will not be contesting the City of Bridgetown seat he currently holds when next Barbadians go to the polls
The Democratic Labour Party (DLP) has announced Kemar Stuart as its candidate to contest in The City of Bridgetown.
