The bridge on the KNR Husbands Highway in Speightstown is to be closed for four months.
The closure is to facilitate the continuation of Phase Two of the Salt Pond Flood Mitigation Project.
The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 20th and run until Monday, January 24th, 2022, provided there are no weather disruptions.
The Barbados Tourism Investment Inc. says as a result of the work, there may be extended transit times for motorists using this route.
Where possible, alternative routes should be used to avoid congestion.
