Barbados intends to continue its promotion of the Bridgetown Initiative as it presses for the unlocking of climate finance for the most vulnerable countries.
Looking back at 2023, Ambassador David Comissiong says the island along with regional grouping, CARICOM used every opportunity to push the initiative in response to the plight of poor countries.
He says significant progress was made last year and this year there will be enhanced opportunities to continue to promote it.
