A bus service will be provided for members of the public who will be attending the National Independence Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 27, at the Wildey Gymnasium, Wildey, St. Michael.
A release from the GIS notes that the service, provided by the Transport Board, will be available from three terminals.
The terminals and departure times are as follows:
- The service from Princess Alice Terminal (PAT) via The Granville Williams Bus Terminal (GWBT) will leave the PAT at 9:00 a.m. and travel to the Wildey Gymnasium via GWBT and Wildey.
- The service from Oistins will depart at 8:30 a.m. and travel to Church Hill, left by Aberdeen, Kingsland, Vauxhall, Wildey, Upton then on to the Wildey Gymnasium.
- The service from Speightstown will depart at 8:30 a.m. and travel to Holetown, Walmer Lodge, Black Rock, Belleville, Collymore Rock then on to the Wildey Gymnasium.
Members of the public are asked to note the usual fee of $3.50 will be charged for each journey.
Buses will be parked at the Wildey Gymnasium by 11:15 a.m. for the return services to Oistins, Speightstown, and PAT/GWBT after the service.
